PHP LDAP IIS 6.0 folder authorisation/authentication
« on: August 28, 2009, 06:24:38 AM »

Hi,
I need to be able to have a site where some of the site is public and some is secure. I am using PHP.
I want to be able to allow those users who have authenticated to the site to have access to the secure areas without having to authenticate to each page. Is this possible?
The servers is MS 2003 R2 running IIS 6.0.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible.
Authentication/Permission systems can vary in complexity. You can have a simple password that protects a webpage, or you could have a full fledged permission system that shows parts within a webpage depending on the user.
